The Michelada Preparada Negra Modelo is a standout drink, perfectly balancing refreshment and spice — an invigorating complement to the food. For starters or light bites, the Tostada de Ceviche de Pescado offers a zesty, citrus-kissed freshness that bursts with each crisp bite, while the Coctel De Camaron presents a cool, briny contrast that refreshes and satisfies.

La Mojarra Loca excels in delivering hearty, generous portions, with dishes like the Molcajete De Camaron Asada Y Pollo and Seafood Molcajete offering a symphony of textures and tastes—succulent shrimp, tender chicken, and a vibrant medley of spices and salsas come together in a way that feels both comforting and elevated. Omelette enthusiasts will delight in the creative House Omelettes such as the Omelette De Camaron, rich with shrimp in a creamy chipotle mushroom sauce, or the Omelette A La Holandesa layered with beef strips, mushrooms, and avocado topped with buttery Hollandaise. Grilled options like the Pulpo Zarandeado, marinated octopus grilled to smoky perfection, and the juicy Costilla De Res ribs bring a hearty, flavorful dimension that highlights expert preparation and freshness.

Dining at La Mojarra Loca is enhanced by attentive service and a lively setting. Guests like Lizeth Ramirez have praised the swift seating and prompt delivery of freshly prepared food and drinks, appreciating the staff's flexibility in accommodating dietary needs, such as customizing the ceviche for those who prefer cooked seafood. We arrived and got seated super fast. The service was amazing our food and drinks took no more than 15 minutes to arrive. The server was great and the food was delicious. I appreciated that they customized my ceviche since I’m currently pregnant and can’t eat raw seafood. The molcajete was super flavorful and we had plenty of food to take home since the portions were pretty big. Would definitely recommend if your on the east side!

Was taking to get seated fairly quickly. Nice friendly workers. The food came out quick. Food was all quite delicious. Its worth the wait I'd say/ assume. The only reason they get a 3 star is that their music is too entirely loud. The singers/ bands they let come in are great sounding but, I promise you that they sing loud enough without having to add a speaker.

Food was amazing. the server was a little frustrated, not their fault. From what I see, they were short staff manager decision, i guess, and to be a Mexican restaurant, it needs more mexican music it feels more like a Dominican or cuban environment with mexican food.

The only thing that’s a little annoying is getting solicited by the bands and photographer. Food is too good to miss out on though
